Another grAARON BENWARD'S BLUE COUNTY MUSCLE SHAKE

Ingredients:

1 Met Rx protein pack (vanilla flavored)
1 cup ice
1 banana
1 Tablespoon toasted wheat germ
2 1/2 cups skim milk

Directions:

Pour contents of protein pouch in blender. Break the peeled banana into pieces, add to blender. Add ice and milk, then blend. Add wheat germ and quickly blend. Pour into glasses and enjoy! (You may need to alter the amounts of the liquid ingredients to get the consistency that you prefer).

GRANDMA B'S MEAT SAUCE

Ingredients:

olive oil, enough to coat the bottom of your pot
2 lbs. of ground sirloin (sirloin is the key because it is lean)
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 clove of elephant garlic, chopped) (has to be elephant garlic)
2 or 3 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes with no added seasonings
1/4 teaspoon sugar
pasta of your choice

Directions:

Coat bottom of pot with olive oil, about 1/4 inch. Brown onion and garlic until dark brown, avoid burning. Instead of stirring, swirl the pot on the burner. Add sirloin and brown. Drain excess liquid if necessary. Add tomatoes (as much as you need to achieve the sauce consistency that you like) and add sugar. Simmer until hot. Eat with bread or pasta.
